    Proper Storm timing?

What should the factory setting be on the timing dots? Right now the second dot on both cams is just barely hidden by the limbs. In other words only one dot is showing to the outside of the limbs and the second dot it takes just a slight amount of pressure with my thumb on the string to see the edge of the second dots.

It sounds like your string may have stretched a little. As long as both cams are the same, it should be fine. Check your axle to axle and call Horton and see what they say. You might need a 1/2 or full twist added to your string to get your ATA back if its off. I personally don't think its a problem, but call the experts, Horton.

It's actually a new string. My original string didn't last a dozen shots before the serving came lose. I just wanted to get the new string twisted correctly

    Sounds like you're close.
I believe Hortons strings come pre-twisted, but not sure without looking it up.
Measure your ATA and add twist to get it right
Your cams will probably be spot on then
My Storm string still looks new, but I haven't shot it as much as my Nitro
My son has it now to hunt with
    Good luck

Fast, accurate beyond most shooters capabilities, balanced, easy to cock, great scope, nice warranty and fairly priced. That all works for me.

    What's not to like?
